An opt-out system for organ donation could soon become law

 

An opt-out system for organ donation could soon become law in England. The Organ Donation (Deemed Consent) Bill had no changes made today during its committee stage in the House of Lords.

The legislation will be called Max’s and Keira’s Law, after heart recipient Max Johnson and his donor, Keira Ball.
