This card literally saved me! I’m very recently diagnosed and my condition has been progressing at light speed didn’t even know I had an infection until I checked the symptoms on this card. It had changed my life and saved it too thank you so much for all your hard work providing these resources! X
Martin Reynell –
Had PSC for 20 years and always struggle to get A&E or GP doctors to quickly understand what treatment is needed for a flare-up. Definitely looks like this card should help with that.
Tony –
I’m only recently diagnosed, but I find it very reassuring having this card with me. I’m also beginning to realise how many medics don’t actually have a working knowledge of PSC. Thanks very much PSC Support.
Shane –
Thank you. Really appreciate this
Sharon Lilley –
Excellent item to carry for myself and medical team. Gives reassurance and information.
Sara –
Thank you so much PSC Support. This card is fantastic. My daughter has only just been diagnosed and I thought this would be very helpful as so few medical staff are aware of PSC. This card will provide much needed reassurance for me if the need arises.
D –
Really useful to have and reassuring knowing I don’t have to explain the complexities of the condition.
Ronan –
Such a simple but great Idea! Trying to explain PSC to people can be tough sometimes, even in a hospital. This makes it much easier.
Sheena –
I’ve had psc for 31 years , this card will make things so much easier, we tend to know more about the disease than drs we see and when you’re feeling unwell the last thing you want to do is explain the illness
emma young –
very informative and useful card
Rick Dallaway –
Fantastic! All the information you need in one handy wallet sized card.
Linda Jackson –
It is very useful to carry the card in your purse, to check your symptoms or to show m ducal staff if you have to be admitted to hospital. Also in an emergency they can see straight away that you have PSC.
Maria –
Great product. Thank you PSC Support for another great tool to help us PSCers!
Katherine Walcot –
I love the security that this little card gives me. Thank you PSC Support.
Natasha Graysmark –
Small enough to carry daily in my phone case and big enough to pack with info! So helpful, and exactly what you need to help explain things when it matters.
Justine –
My son carries his in his wallet. He’s off to Uni soon so it gives me some peace of mind that he can refer to it or use it in hospital for a more swift assessment and treatment. Fingers crossed he won’t have to use it, but it’s there if he does.
Nikki –
Perfect size for storing in purseand includes all info thats relevant to share. Fantastic idea and a credit to the people that helped produce it. Thankyou.
Wendy Lewis –
Valuable professionally produced information leaflet. Keep it in my purse. Haven’t used it yet but very reassuring to know I have it.
Kelly-joy Sherwood –
This is a handy little card you can keep in your wallet to carry around for peace of mind should we have an attack. Alot of doctors and nurses are still unaware of PSC and the issues that a rise from it so its very handy to be able to give to them and show them rather than having to try to explain all about it. I would definitely recommand getting one if you have PSC even if you haven’t had an attack before as sadly with PSC you never know when you might have a cholangitis attack and need someone to recognise the symptoms quickly to get the treatment you need fast.
Jenny –
So handy to have in my phone case. I have shown mine to the nurses at my GP surgery numerous times and they all commented “if only more rare conditions could have something like this”. I also find mine super handy when I’m feeling under the weather and I’m not sure if it’s cholangitis or something else.
Matthew –
A true lifesaver! I had cause to use my card recently during an acute Cholangitis attack which had progressed to Sepsis. It gave me clarity and helped me to explain my concerns to the triage nurse to speed up admission through A&E
Julie Howell –
Great card, very informative. Perfect to card in your card holder, wallet or handbag
Elsbeth –
Helped me to realise I had a cholangitis attack. Haven’t had to use it in hospital yet (touch wood) but always carry it with me. My husband also has one, just in case…
karena Brown –
My daughter finds this really useful and gives her peace of mind when travelling to areas not in commuting distance to her lead hospital.
Shirley Roy –
Great item to have, I always carry it with me, very informative.
Heather Marshall –
It’s a perfect size to keep in my purse. It’s great to have the reassurance of knowing I always have it with me incase I need to visit A&E or the out of hours service as staff often don’t have much knowledge about PSC or cholangitis.
Julie Taylor –
Very informative, the card is with me wherever I go. Thank you guys.
Susan –
Fantastic portable guide to cholangitis. Excellent idea to make it wallet sized. Thank you PSC Support! 🙂
Carl wright –
Great information to have especially when the nurses in A&E give you the blank look when you say you have PSC
Russell Davies –
Excellent, used on my last admission to hospital,a doctor in A & E who did not know about PSC and a doctor on the ward, both said it helped them know what they were dealing with.
Hannah –
Fantastic, my husband has used it many times in hospital. Its helped all members of staff. A medical student even asked to take notes from it. I would highly recommend.
J C Denson –
Told hospital when admitted but they had info about me on record
