Summary of recommendations made by European experts

In April 2020, experts from the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) and the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) published a Position Paper on the ‘Care of patients with liver disease during the COVID-19 pandemic’ to help healthcare providers when reallocating resources to manage the care of people with liver disease and those who have had liver transplants.

Martine Walmsley helped to write a summary of this important paper for the general public and patients.
