Volunteer Research Admin Support Role
Now Recruiting! Volunteer Research Admin Support
Help Drive PSC Research Forward!
There’s never been a more exciting time to get involved in PSC research.
We’ve got more clinical trials and research projects happening than ever before and it’s making a real difference. On top of academic and commercial studies, PSC Support has committed over £750,000 to fund cutting-edge research in just the last two years.
We’re involved in every step of the research process, from writing easy-to-understand summaries and organising patient groups to sitting on project boards and applying for funding. With so much going on, we could really use an extra pair of hands!
We’re looking for committed volunteers to help with research admin. Could this be you?
✅ Can you spare 5-6 hours per week?
✅ Are you super organised and great with details?
If yes, we’d love to hear from you! Your support will help push vital PSC research even further.
What our research admin volunteers will be doing:
- Organising online focus groups – setting dates, sending invites, creating agendas, and taking notes
- Collating information from multiple sources into a single document
- Helping the Operations Manager prepare financial reports related to our research
- Chasing up invoices and sending reminders, with support from our Ops Manager
- Assisting our Head of Research Strategy with managing grant applications – talking to researchers, organising meetings, and preparing reports
- Checking in with researchers to track their progress
- Keeping our records and research database up to date
- Helping keep research documents organised and easy to access
These roles are perfect for individuals who're organised, proactive, and passionate about making a difference. You don’t need to be a research expert, just someone who’s happy to pitch in and help keep things running smoothly. This role is suitable for individuals with administrative experience who are able to dedicate a portion of their time each week.
