Researchers at the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) and St Mark's Hospital in London have shared news today that they have developed a test to predict bowel cancer risk in people with inflammatory bowel disease.

People with PSC-IBD need an annual colonoscopy, which is an invasive procedure to check for signs of cancer and inflammation. More research is needed, but this test could help inform treatment options and how often people with PSC need colonoscopies in the future.
