Guidance for clinically extremely vulnerable people
Do I need to shield?
Only some clinically extremely vulnerable people in some very high alert areas will be advised to shield. If this applies to you, you will be sent a new letter. You are not advised to follow this revised shielding advice unless you receive a new shielding notification advising you to do so. Here is the current shielding guidance.
How you can help protect yourself
There are three simple actions we must all do to keep on protecting each other:
Wash hands
Keep washing your hands regularly
Cover face
Wear a face covering in enclosed spaces
Make space
Stay at least 2 metres apart - or 1 metre with a face covering or other precautions
